UV Printing on Glass
Digital UV flatbed printing makes it possible to apply images, text, borders and technical markings directly onto glass. The ink is printed directly onto the glass and cured with UV light, creating a clean and durable finish.
This process is suitable for both technical and decorative applications. Examples include markings, control panels, logos, images and the visual concealment of fixings or technical components.
Depending on the application, printing can be applied directly to the front or rear surface of the glass. When printing on the rear side, the printed image is viewed through the glass. This keeps the front surface smooth and easy to clean, while fixings, adhesive layers or other technical components can be concealed behind the print.
The printing process can be combined with different glass types and glass processing methods. In combination with anti-reflective glass, unwanted reflections can be significantly reduced, which is particularly useful for images, displays and presentation applications.
