Macada invests in new possibilities for printing on glass

Macada Innovision has expanded its services with a digital UV flatbed printer for high-quality printing applications on glass. The investment was made in response to specific customer requests. There has been an increasing demand for high-quality and durable custom solutions for applying images, technical applications and decorative elements to glass.

The new printer makes it possible to apply images, borders and technical applications directly onto glass. By printing directly onto the back of the glass, a clean and durable end result is achieved, with adhesive layers or fixings remaining invisible after installation. In addition, the glass is easy to keep clean. In combination with anti-reflective glass, images and artworks stand out even better, as unwanted reflections are reduced to a minimum.

With this investment, Macada can support its customers even better in developing custom solutions. The new printing technology is a valuable addition to the current product range and is in line with Macada’s ambition to offer customers increasingly specialised and innovative glass solutions.

“We are increasingly seeing applications where glass is not only functional, but also becomes a medium for information or experience. With this investment, we can support our customers even better in this area,” says Maurits.
